Wise County Heat Schedule

Yep ****enson Co has one becouse like Wise Co the bulding were built in the pre AC days and to make things worse the Old building at CHS does not even have windows that open more than a 1 inch vent strip

More reason to consolidate and build new schools. If I were a betting man I would imagine the Superintendent is not going to put the schools on a heat schedule to prove some type of point to everyone that new schools need to be built. JMO

You'd think some of the anti-consolidation folks would see that but no.

I think it's a shame to keep these schools open with the way the heat gets and in the winter.

Yep, it sure did. I remember it well, and the drivers knew how to drive in the snow, not like some of the drivers now. For the most, today's bus drivers drive entirely too fast and don't pay nearly as much attention to driving conditions as they used to.

And they could have them installed after all of this time? I don't get how this has been a problem, that does effect the kids big time and nothing has really been done about it. Puzzles me.

The old building is pushing 100 years old no clue why real windows have never been installed I can only assume that it boils down to the rat trap of other issues that kind of revamp would bring but honistly the heat IMHO was nerver that building biggist problem is was the coal fired boiler and raidader heating system that was never warm on cold mornings but would flat roast you in the spring when the days would get warm but the boiler was engaged.......(I must note that the New building at CHS which is only about 50 years old is in 10X better shape (not that it does not have its own issues)

It is that crap that makes me want to slap the anti-consoladation people who keep saying the schools are just fine and they don't make that quality any more......your **** right any new school buildings would have a desent heating and cooling system
